A plain fabric for your sewing project

Choose the fabric type to suit your pattern. Check its weight, composition and required stretch. A fabric for a sweatshirt may have different properties from a fabric for a lightweight top.

Ribbing for the finishing touches

Use suitable ribbing for a neckline, cuff or waistband, for example. Follow your pattern instructions and check that the ribbing has enough stretch and recovery.

Play with colour
