100% cotton jersey is a knitted clothing fabric without elastane. Its knitted structure gives it natural stretch. This lightweight, fluid fabric is a lovely choice for loose-fitting shirts, tops and summer clothing.

What can you make with cotton jersey?

Make a boxy T-shirt, an airy top or comfortable pyjamas. Choose a pattern suited to the fabric’s stretch: jersey without elastane recovers differently from fabric containing elastane.

Combine cotton with colour

Let one plain colour take centre stage or combine several colours. Matching ribbing can add elasticity to a neckline or sleeve opening. Check each product’s width, weight and recommended sewing instructions.
